The government on Thursday decreased the price of high speed diesel by Rs2 per litre, but decided to keep the petrol price unchanged.
According to a notification issued by the Finance Ministry, the new price of high speed diesel is Rs254.64 per litre.
Kerosene oil price has been decreased by Rs5.04 per litre and the price of light diesel oil has been decreased by Rs4.68 per litre.
As the petrol price remains unchanged at Rs252.63 per litre, the new price of light diesel oil is Rs150.65 per litre and high speed diesel is Rs254.64 per litre. The new price of kerosene oil is Rs164.65 per litre.
