A local court in Rawalpindi has awarded death sentence to convict on Friday who was found guilty in rape of 22-year old student, the 24NewsHD channel reported.
The convict Arshad Mahmood alias Achhu entered house of the victim girl in Rawalpindi and FIR of the incident was registered in July 2024 in Saddar Police Station. The court also imposed fine of Rs 2 lakh and ordered the convict to pay Rs 5 lakh in compensation to the victim family.
The court ruled in favor of the prosecution based on the evidence furnished in the court.
