Saudi Arabia has launched its first-ever “FAM Trip” initiative aimed at improving services for Hajj pilgrims, inviting private Hajj organisers from 14 countries, including Pakistan, to review facilities ahead of Hajj 2026.
According to 24NewsHD TV channel, the programme has been designed to allow participating delegations to assess arrangements and exchange views with Saudi officials on enhancing the pilgrimage experience.
The trip brings together international Hajj organisers to inspect transport, accommodation, food services, and other facilities provided to pilgrims.
The initiative marks a major step by the Saudi government toward ensuring that operational standards meet global expectations.
Pakistan was represented by Nasser Khan, chairman of the country’s Private Hajj Operators Association.
Delegates held key meetings with Saudi authorities and discussed recommendations for Hajj 2026.
The organisers also toured various service centres and logistical sites to evaluate preparations.
Saudi officials said the FAM Trip would help strengthen coordination with international partners and ensure that pilgrims receive better, more streamlined facilities in the upcoming Hajj seasons.
