FIA foils bid to travel abroad on fake documents at Islamabad Airport

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration officials deputed at New Islamabad International Airport (NIIA) foiled an attempt by a passenger to travel to Thailand on fake documents, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Sunday. 

According to details, a passenger who was identified as Arif Khan, a resident of Mardan, was going to Malaysia through a Flydubai flight. FZ-254.

During checking, FIA detected fake stamps of his entry in Malaysia on his passport. No record was available in the computer system about these stamps.

Later, the accused was handed over to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle in Islamabad for necessary investigation.
