The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Anti-Human Smuggling Cell arrested five illegal Afghan citizens during a crackdown in Peshawar, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Sunday.
According to the details, these Afghan nationals were living in a private hotel located in the Dubgari area of Peshawar after obtaining a Pakistani CNIC through illegal channels.
These Afghans were identified as Ali Khan, Ajmal, Qasim, Ahmad and Hamza.
FIA also recovered Afghan documents and Pakistani CNIC from their possession.
It is necessary to mention here that Chagai and Quetta in Balochistan and Attock in Punjab were the top three districts across the country where most of Afghan Citizen Card (ACC) holders or undocumented Afghan nationals were arrested or detained in over 10 months this year, says a UN refugee agency report.
