Lower Dir police claimed to have arrested three suspects in connection with the firing incident at Pakistani cricketer Naseem Shah’s residence, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday.
According to officials, the arrests were a key part of the ongoing investigation, with evidence already collected and efforts underway to determine the motive behind the attack.
Naseem Shah’s family expressed concern over the incident and hoped that the perpetrators would soon face justice.
Cricket fans also took to social media to send their best wishes to Naseem Shah and his family.
The attack took place on the night of November 10 at around 1:45 am, when unidentified individuals fired at the main gate of Shah’s home.
The gunfire caused damage to doors, walls, and windows, but fortunately, no one was injured.
The assailants fled the scene immediately after the shooting.
