The Balochistan cabinet on Thursday strongly condemned the Afghan aggression and expressed satisfaction over the timely and effective action of the Pakistan Army, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
In the meeting chaired by Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, the cabinet prayed for the martyrs of the Pakistan Army who sacrificed their lives in the defence of the homeland.
Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Bugti said that the Afghan government had not changed its attitude since 1947.
Pakistan hosted Afghan refugees for decades but always got hostility in return, Balochistan Chief Minister said.
He said the decision to evacuate Afghan refugees on the federal government's decision is final.
In the meeting, the provincial cabinet approved an amendment to the authority to implement Section 144.
Deputy Commissioner 30, Commissioner 60 and Additional Chief Secretary Home will be able to implement Section 144 for 90 days, provincial cabinet decided.
Balochistan cabinet also approved the establishment of anti-sexual crime units in the province which will register and investigate cases of sexual abuse.
Balochistan cabinet agreed to establish a special force to protect women from harassment.
The cabinet approved the Balochistan Control of Narcotics Support Bill 2025 to prevent drugs.
The provincial cabinet approved the amendment of the prevailing Nikah Nama Form II as per the decision of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
The cabinet approved the Balochistan Overseas Pakistanis Commission Bill 2025.
The Balochistan Cabinet granted industry status to the Mines and Minerals sector.
The provincial cabinet approved the Balochistan Land Lease Policy 2025.
The provincial government is committed to the agenda of public welfare, transparent governance and institutional reforms, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti said.
He said practical steps are underway to make Balochistan an economically stable, peaceful and empowered province.
