Pakistan announces 5,000 fellowships Palestinian students

The federal government has decided to provide higher education opportunities to Palestinian students in Pakistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

In this regard, Standing Committee for Scientific and Technology Cooperation (COMSTECH) has announced 5,000 fellowships for Palestinian students.

Under the fellowships, Palestinian students will be able to study in Pakistani universities.

The fellowships will be given by the Committee of the OIC on Scientific and Technological Cooperation.

Federal Minister for Education Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui announced the launch of the fellowships.

The federal minister announced the fellowships at the inauguration of the first Palestine-Pakistan Vice Chancellors Forum at the COMSTECH Secretariat.

Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said BLSO Trauma Management Courses including technical training programs are a real effort to build human resources in Gaza. 

Pakistan stands by Palestine. Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said.
