Pakistani singer-actor Samar Jafri has officially bid farewell to his much-discussed character Raja as ‘Raja London Ka’ reaches its conclusion, taking fans behind the scenes of his intense journey with a heartfelt social media tribute.

Taking to Instagram, Samar shared a carousel of pictures and clips featuring memorable moments from the sets of the revenge thriller. The BTS glimpse included his co-stars Ameema Saleem and Zaviyar Nauman Ejaz, along with several members of the cast and crew who became part of his journey on the project.

Alongside the nostalgic visuals, Samar penned an emotional farewell message, expressing gratitude to director Fajr Raza for pushing him beyond his comfort zone and helping him explore a completely different side of his acting.

 “Farewell, Raja.”

Reflecting on his experience, the actor wrote that he had always wanted to step outside his comfort zone and thanked Fajr Raza for fulfilling that wish and ensuring that he brought out “the best version” of himself.

Samar described ‘Raja London Ka’ as a project that would always hold a special place in his heart, adding that he was taking away “a bag full of memories” that he would cherish for the rest of his life.

The ‘Raja London Ka’ star also showered praise on his co-stars, thanking them for making the experience even more beautiful, while acknowledging the entire team for their dedication, love and hard work throughout the project.

He further expressed gratitude to his fans, crediting them for helping make the drama what it is today and emphasizing that the project would not have been possible without their continued support.

Samar did not forget his personal team either, thanking them for constantly pushing him through the demanding journey, tolerating his tantrums and listening to his “never-ending rants.”

One of the behind the scenes visuals shows Samar inside a production vanity van wearing heavy special-effects makeup, with his face covered in bruises, blood and dirt. The raw look reflected the physical intensity and violence surrounding the character during the show’s climactic sequences.

Director Fajr Raza also played a key role in shaping Samar’s transformation. The actor underwent noticeable physical and stylistic changes for the role, including bulking up, altering his posture and adopting a darker tan to authentically capture Raja’s rough-edged personality.

The transformation allowed Samar to move away from his familiar romantic persona and embody the anger, aggression and ruggedness required by the revenge-driven character.

With Raja London Ka now concluding, Samar’s farewell marks the closing chapter of a project that gave the young actor an opportunity to experiment with a considerably different performance style.

The drama’s conclusion has also brought attention to Samar’s physical transformation and his efforts to step outside his established acting mould, with viewers taking to social media to discuss his portrayal of the intense and gritty Raja.
