After federal government's measures to import wheat, Trade Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) opens tender for the import of 750,000 metric tons of wheat.
Overall TCP receives 13 bids for wheat import. Eleven of them submitted bids, while two submitted letters of regret. Out of the 11 submitted bids, nine were declared technically and financially suitable.
TCP received a lowest bid of $348.83 per metric ton for Karachi. TCP received a lowest bid of $352.97 per metric tonne for Gwadar. Bidders have been given until 6 PM tomorrow to lodge any complaints. The federal government will make a decision regarding the award of the tender at a later stage. TCP had issued the wheat import tender following a decision by the federal government.
