206 children die of measles in Bangladesh, 20,352 still face infection

At least 206 children have died of measles and measles symptoms across Bangladesh while 3,065 have been confirmed to have measles infection.

At the same time, the number of people infected with suspected measles symptoms is 20,352. 
This information was reported by the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Bangladesh Health Department. 
According to division-wise statistics, Dhaka division is at the top in terms of deaths. A total of 98 children have died in this division, of which 20 deaths were identified as measles and 78 deaths as suspected measles. Next is Rajshahi division, where a total of 68 children have died. In addition, 16 children have died in Chittagong, 10 in Khulna, seven in Barisal and five in Sylhet division. 

Health experts say that not only measles, but also other infections are responsible for this situation. However, the positive side is that thousands of children are recovering despite this outbreak.
