The first annual examinations of the 9th grade under the Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) have begun, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
On the first day of the 9th grade annual examination, five subjects are being examined including Economics, Art and Model Drawing, Environmental Studies, Tech and Physical Hygiene.
As many as 287,575 candidates will appear in the examination including 152,273 female students and 135,000 male students.
Moreover, 184,000 regular and 133,000 private candidates will appear.
In this regard, 880 examination centers have been set up for the examination.
Section 144 has been imposed in the examination centers and no unauthorized person will be allowed to enter the examination center.
A total of 26 sensitive examination centers is being monitored with CCTV cameras.
