Former Punjab chief minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi on Monday paid a visit to the residence of PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan following the death of his mother, 24NewsHD TV reported.
Several government, opposition and other prominent figures also visited Barrister Gohar’s residence in Islamabad to offer their condolences and express sympathy with the bereaved family.
Planning and Development Minister Ahsan Iqbal and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar were among those who visited the PTI chairman and offered condolences.
PML-N lawmakers Malik Abrar, Anjum Aqeel and Nadeem Afzal Chan also visited Barrister Gohar’s residence and expressed grief over his mother’s death.
Several senior PTI leaders and other important party members also met Barrister Gohar during the day and offered condolences on the loss of his mother.
