Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has decided to express solidarity with Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto’s statement against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Dec 18 (tomorrow) across the country,” reported 24NewsHd TV channel.
This was announced by Federal Minister of Poverty Alleviation and Social Security Shazia Marri and Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon while addressing a joint press conference in Karachi on Saturday.
Shazia Marry said Bilawal Bhutto strongly represented the country on the platform of the United Nations. He also replied to India's statement in a befitting manner, Shazia added. She said that tribute will be paid to the courage of Bilawal Bhutto tomorrow.
She said that Muslims are being oppressed and tortured in India and Bilawal painted the true picture of India among the community of the world.
Shazia Marri said that demonstrations are being held all over India on Bilawal Bhutto's statement.
Shazia Marri said Bilawal Bhutto as a foreign minister is a blessing for the country. “We have always tried to develop good relations with the countries of the region including India,” she said adding that unfortunately, a government in India that promotes hatred and terrorism.
The federal minister added the Pakistanis are with Bilawal Bhutto and they are united and not afraid of anyone. She lamented that Indian Muslims are being associated with terrorism.
Sharjeel Memon recalled that trains were set on fire at Modi's behest in India. “India is involved in all kinds of terrorism activities in Pakistan,” he said adding that “All the incidents of terrorism are linked to India.”
