Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) under the leadership of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain was considering to seek the post of speaker in Punjab Assembly, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
In the formation of Punjab government, PML-Q is supporting PML-N’s proposed candidate Maryam Nawaz Sharif for the slot of Punjab Chief Minister.
In case PML-N refused the post of speaker, PML-Q will demand deputy speaker’s slot for MPA Ch Shafaay Hussain.
It is pertinent to mention here that PML-Q bagged eight seats in Punjab Assembly in the recently-held general elections.
