Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori on Monday wrote a letter to Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah expressing his serious concerns over increase in violations of traffic laws, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In the letter, Governor Tessori said death toll due to violation of traffic laws and careless driving of dumper, truck and water tankers drivers has gone up sharply.
He said that marginable increase being witnessed in number of deaths in traffic accidents from last few months.
The Governor advised Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah to constitute a level-high commission under the supervision of chief secretary to determine real cause of incidents and an exemplary punishment should be awarded to those responsible for causing such incidents.
The governor said that people are feeling unsafe due to the rise in death and traffic laws violations.
