M-tag installation on vehicles continued in the federal capital and it has been decided to start the process of installing M-tag on motorcycles in the second phase, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to Director General Excise Irfan Memon, the formal installation of M-tag on motorcycles will begin from February 20.
Motorcycle owners will be able to obtain M-tags from 10 am on February 20.
It is mandatory to bring motorcycle documents and identity card for M-tag.
It will be applicable to all bikes, heavy bikes and all types of motorcycles.
So far, more than 600,000 vehicles have been issued M-tags.
The process of installing M-tags is ongoing at 13 points across the city.

The process of registering bikes and online taxis is ongoing separately.
The aim of all measures is to make the city and citizens' travel safe.
