Jailed former prime minister Imran Khan's sister Aleema Khan said on Tuesday she and her sisters were stopped at Chakri earlier in the day when they were going to hold a press conference outside Adiala Jail, and were not allowed to proceed until 4:30 PM.
Addressing a press conference, Aleema stated that the purpose of the press conference was to discuss the health of Imran Khan, who has reportedly lost vision in one of his eyes. She said that Khan's wife Bushra Bibi conveyed them a message that Khan was in a poor health.
Aleema said that Imran Khan had complained about his deteriorating eyesight and requested that Dr Faisal and Dr Asim be granted access to examine him. She added that Khan also asked for his blood test reports to be shared with them.
“I never talk about anyone,” she remarked during the media interaction while highlighting the need for proper medical attention for the PTI founder chairman.
