Fog has disrupted vehicular traffic on several sections of motorways which have been shut to avoid any road mishaps in Punjab, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
M2 has been closed from Lahore to Sheikhupura. M3 is closed from Faizpur to Darkhana, M4 from Sher Shah to Faisalabad and M5 has been closed from Sher Shah to Zahir Pir. M11 from Lahore to Sialkot is also closed to all kinds of vehicles.
The Motorway Police advised the road users to prefer to travel during the maximum hours of the day when the fog is less likely to occur.
They also urged the drivers to use fog lights, keep a safe distance from other vehicles, and follow the traffic rules.
