The American Ambassador to Pakistan, Mr Donald Bloom, met with the Chief of Pakistan Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu, at his office on Tuesday.
According to the spokesperson of Pakistan Air Force, the two dignitaries discussed ways to enhance the cooperation and training sector between the air forces of the two countries through joint air exercises.
They also agreed to cooperate in the recently established Techno Parks by the Pakistan Air Force and to exchange technical capabilities and delegations for the development of the training sector. They emphasized leveraging technological advancements to further strengthen operational readiness and efficiency.
The spokesperson said that the meeting also covered the scope of cooperation for joint projects and strategic partnerships by strengthening mutual relations and developing new ways.
The Air Chief reiterated his strong commitment to take the already cordial relationship between Pakistan and the United States to new heights.
He said that Pakistan values its strong diplomatic, economic and defence ties with the United States and that Pak-US relations are based on mutual consensus on all important issues related to regional peace, security and stability.
The American ambassador appreciated the professionalism of the Pakistan Air Force personnel and praised the significant progress made by the Pakistan Air Force in the field of self-reliance under the current leadership. He also lauded Pakistan's unwavering commitment to regional peace.
