Director General (DG) Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmad Sharif Chaudhry held a special session with teachers and students of various madrassas and educational institutions including Islamia University of Bahawalpur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
The DG ISPR paid tribute to the people of Bahawalpur for their services in the Pakistan Movement and the stability of Pakistan.
The ceremony discussed in detail the national and regional situation, Operation Banyan Al-Marsus and the role of the Pakistan Army in national security.
The session discussed the Indian nexus of Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khwarij and social media propaganda.
The Vice Chancellor of Islamia University appreciated the detailed awareness on the meanings and objectives of Pakistan’s national security.
The participants considered media literacy to be very important for protecting the consciousness and opinion of the youth.
Participants said media literacy is an effective means of protection from negative propaganda and enemy narrative.
Participants paid tribute to the army for standing with the nation in every difficulty.
Students of madrasas said that the Pakistan Army has always held the state and the constitution proudly high.
At the end of the ceremony, students raised slogans of Pak Army and Pakistan Zindabad.
