At least nine people died and 15 injured when a passenger coach overturned on Makran Coastal Highway near Ormara on Saturday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The passenger coach was going to Karachi from Jeewani and the incident occurred at Hud Goth, located on Makran Coastal Highway near Ormara.
After receiving the report, a police team led by SP Coastal Highway Aslam Bungalzai rushed to the site and shifted the deceased and the injured persons to Darman Jah.
Man dies, wife injured in Karachi accident
A man lost his life, and his wife seriously injured when a dumper truck hit their motorcycle in Karachi.
According to details, the accident occurred as the dumper truck was coming from the wrong side.
Soon after the accident, a police team rushed to the spot and shifted them to the hospital.
The driver of the dumper truck escaped from the scene. The police took the dumper truck into their custody.
In another accident, a man who was riding a motorcycle died when an unidentified vehicle hit his bike near the PSO Petrol Pump in Landhi.
The dead person was later identified as Ashraf, who was 53.
Car overturned at Lyari Expressway
A driver seriously injured after his car was overturned due to overspeeding at Lyari Expressway.
Motorway Police said that the accident took place on the road that was heading towards the National Highway from Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
Soon after the accident, Motorway Police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured driver to the nearby hospital.
Later, the Motorway Police removed the car from the road and restored normal traffic.
