The Directorate of Hajj has issued formal instructions regarding preparations for Hajj training camps, aimed at ensuring that intending pilgrims are fully prepared for the sacred journey, 24NewsHD TV reported on Saturday.

Officials said various departments, including the Punjab Food Authority, have been requested to participate in the camps.

The authority will brief pilgrims on food hygiene and safety, a crucial aspect of maintaining health during Hajj.

In Faisalabad, the main training sessions will be held on February 13 and 14 at the Iqbal Auditorium, University of Agriculture, while the overall Hajj training programme will commence on January 28 and continue until February 14, 2026.

In addition to detailed guidance on Hajj rituals, experts from Rescue 1122 will provide training in emergency medical care and first aid.

To address women-specific concerns, lady doctors will also be present during the sessions to answer questions related to health and safety.

Pilgrims will further be trained in the use of modern mobile applications, enabling them to access essential services, navigation support, and official information during their stay in Saudi Arabia.
