Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is arriving Lahore today, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
Bilawal is expected to condole with Istehkam-i-Pakistan Party patron-in-chief Jehangir Tareen on the demise of his brother.
There is also a possibility that several political figures would announce joining the Pakistan Peoples Party during his stay in Lahore.
Bilawal Bhutto is also expected to hold meetings with the PPP Punjab and Lahore leaders.
PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari was also in Lahore during the weekend. Prime Minster Shehbaz Sharif called on him at his residence in the Punjab capital on Saturday. Both discussed the country’s political situation.
Political parties are gearing up for general elections as the current government’s term is completing on Aug 12 at midnight.
During a laptop distributing ceremony in Sialkot yesterday, the prime minister said that he would hand over the reins to the caretaker setup next month before the completion of the assembly’s tenure.
