The weather in various plain areas across the country will remain hot and humid while northeast and east Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), Kashmir and Potohar areas to experience downpours accompanied by strong winds, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
The Met Department stated that some areas of Northeast Punjab are likely to receive heavy rains.
The met department predicted thunderstorms in Islamabad on Monday while the weather in KPK will remain hot and humid. However, in some areas of KPK including Dir, Swat, Malakand Abbottabad, Mansehra and Waziristan, rain is likely.
On Monday, the weather in Punjab will remain hot and humid while a few areas including Murree, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Gujranwala, Sialkot Kasur and Lahore might experience rainfall.
Thunderstorms will storm Barkhan, Kalat and Khizdar areas of Balochistan while all the other areas will remain hot and humid.
Karachi and its surroundings might see light rainfall while other areas of Sindh are predicted to remain hot and humid.
Weather of Kashmir will remain cloudy. Thunderstorms are also expected while heavy rain might shower in different areas.
