Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Friday inaugurated the Apni Chhat Mehfooz Chhat Programme, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking on the occasion, Maryam Nawaz said the Kahna tragedy has made her very anxious and she can understand the pain of the parents of deceased children.
Maryam Nawaz said Apna Ghar gives residents a sense of security.
A loan of Rs500,000 will be given without interest for the Mehfooz Chhat Project, Maryam Nawaz said.
The Chief Minister said an installment of Rs4,700 will have to be paid after three months.
The loan is being given for a period of 9 years and borrowers will not have to pay the installment for the first 3 months, Maryam Nawaz said.
