Two young men who drowned while bathing in a canal near Sangla Hill have been recovered after an extensive search operation carried out by Rescue 1122 personnel on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to Rescue1122, the incident occurred two days ago near Rattian Araiyan on Marh Balochan Road, where two men were bathing in the canal when they drowned.
Rescue teams reached the scene immediately after receiving the emergency call and launched a rescue and search operation.
Officials said all available rescue techniques were used to locate the victims. After continuous efforts and professional search operations, Rescue 1122 personnel successfully recovered both bodies from the canal.
Following the completion of necessary legal formalities, the bodies were handed over to the victim’s families.
The deceased were identified as 20-year-old Zain and 22 year-year-old Talal, both were residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The entire water and research operation was supervised by District Emergency Officer Muhammad Akram Panwar, Rescue 1122 added.
