Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has warned against any delay in the development projects, saying no laxity will be acceptable in timely completion of the uplift projects, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The prime minister expressed these views while presiding over a review meeting about the ongoing development projects in Islamabad on Friday.
Shehbaz Sharif directed to complete all the development projects within their stipulated timeframe and instructed the Chairman Capital Development Authority to personally monitor the pace and quality of work of these projects.
The prime minister also directed to ensure land skiing of the development projects according to international standards.
The meeting was informed in detail about the development on the projects being undertaken by the Capital Development Authority.
PML-N Balochistan delegation calls on PM
An eight-member PML-N Balochistan delegation led by Jaffer Khan Mandokhel called on PM Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Friday.
The delegation included Jamal Shah Kakar, Sardar Yaqoob Nasir, Agha Shazeb Durrani, Amir Afzal Mandokhel, Chaudhry Naeem, Naseer Achakzai and Zaheer Khan Kakar.
Shehbaz Sharif on the occasion said Pakistan’s progress is linked with Balochistan’s development. The government has prioritized work on CPEC-related development projects, he added.
Baloch youth are the real asset of the province, he said and added, the government will impart higher education, professional training and laptops to the youth.
The meeting also discussed in detail the prevailing political situation in the country.
