The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder, Imran Khan, has decided to defer the party’s planned protest movement for two weeks due to the prevailing international situation.
This was revealed by Uzma Khan, the sister of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, during a media talk at Adiala Jail after a meeting with Imran Khan in the prison.
Accompanied by her sister Naureen Niazi, she revealed that gaining access to the former prime minister in jail was extremely difficult.
“Despite the constraints, we managed to meet him today,” Uzma Khan stated.
During the conversation, the PTI founder appeared well-informed about the ongoing global developments.
He emphasized that Pakistan was in a fragile state and stressed the urgent need for national unity.
“Pakistan must come together as one,” he was quoted as saying.
Uzman Khan said that Imran Khan's stance regarding Israel is very clear; now it is the duty of the Prime Minister, President, and COAS to take a firm stand against Israel.

Uzma Khan clarified that the postponement was directly linked to global tensions and not due to domestic pressure.
Criticizing the government’s economic policies, the PTI founder lambasted the recently announced federal budget.
He described it as “an elite capture budget” that further burdens ordinary citizens and deepens economic inequality.
“This is Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s fourth budget, and yet again, the public has been weighed down,” he remarked.
He further warned that the new budget would exacerbate poverty across the country, citing a concerning statistic: “Some 4.3 million educated Pakistanis have already left the country in search of better opportunities abroad.”
Discussing provincial matters, he noted that the newly tabled budget in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would be passed only after thorough consultation and review.
