As political temperature in the country is rising due to the no-confidence motion to be tabled in the National Assembly (NA) by the opposition parties in a few days from now and both members of the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and the opposition are claiming they have an upper hand in the country’s politics, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) MNAs Abdul Qadir Patel, Agha Rafiullah, Javed Shah Jilani and others on Thursday alleged that the PTI government was bent upon ‘terrorizing’ the opposition, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In their joint statement, they said that the ‘Niazi Sarkar’ was now planning to launch an assault on the Sindh House by sending what they alleged the ‘goons’ of PTI’s Tiger Force.
They went on to say that even their lives were not safe at the Parliament Lodges.
The PPP MNAs added that even their female colleagues did not feel secure.
“Islamabad Police is behaving like ‘Gullu Butt’. And if anyone of us comes to a harm, ‘selected’ Prime Minister Imran Khan will be responsible for that,” they said, and demanded that Sindh Police personnel be deployed for their protection since they did not trust the capital police anymore.
