The administration of Harmain Shareefain has issued a link through which those interested in offering Itekaf at the end of the holy month of Ramadan can get themselves registered for a permit, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.    

It is pertinent to mention here that the administration provides all types of facilities to those offering Itekaf.

Every person is issued a special card and a locker in which they can keep their essential items.  

Over 5.2 faithful visit Masjid-e-Nabawi in first week of Ramadan

A marked increase has been noticed in the arrival of faithful at Masjid-e-Nabawi in the holy month of Ramadan.

According to the administration of Harmain Shareefain, over 5.2 million believers have visited the mosque in the first week of the holy month.

As per the administration, various facilities have been provided to the visitors.  

A report released by the General Authority on Masjid-e-Nabawi Affairs reads that over 0.4 million Muslims paid their respects at the shrine of the holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) while over 0.1 million males and the same number of females offered prayers at Riad ul-Jannah.

According to the administration, special arrangements are made for the iftar of the faithful both inside and outside the mosque.
