SSGPL seeks raise in Sui gas prices

 Sui Southern Gas Pipeline Limited (SSGPL) has sought oil and gas regulatory body’s approval to raise gas prices for consumers in Sindh and Balochistan from July 2024, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Sui Southern Gas Pipeline Limited (SSGPL) has demanded from OGRA to allow her to hike gas price Rs324.03 per MMBTU and after the approval new gas price will reach Rs740.80 MMBTU.

SSGPL pleaded in the application to OGRA that it was facing Rs79.63 billion rupees shortfall in revenue while in Sindh and Balochistan shortfall stood at Rs56.69 billion. While RLNG shortfall was estimated at Rs22.93 billion.

OGARA will hear SSGPL request regarding hike in Sindh province on Monday while the case about Balochistan will be heard in Quetta on March 20.
