Pakistan’s armed forces have destroyed Afghan Taliban military posts adjacent to the Khyber sector using anti-tank guided missiles, security sources said on Tuesday, as part of the ongoing Operation Ghazab Lil Haq, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the sources, the Pakistan Army successfully targeted and completely destroyed the Afghan Taliban’s military positions near the Khyber sector in a series of coordinated and effective strikes.
The attacks resulted in heavy casualties and significant material losses for the Taliban, as multiple military installations near the border area were reduced to rubble.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Army completely destroyed the Afghan Taliban flag post in North Waziristan on the same day. The security sources said the hideouts of the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij are being effectively targeted.
Security officials stated that the operation remains ongoing and will continue until all its stated objectives are fully achieved, underscoring Pakistan’s resolve to counter cross-border militancy.
The latest development follows strikes carried out a day earlier, when Pakistan’s armed forces executed precision airstrikes on the night of March 16, targeting what officials described as terrorism-supporting military installations of the Afghan Taliban regime in Kabul.
In a statement posted on social media platform X, Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar said that technical support infrastructure and ammunition storage facilities at two sites in Kabul were successfully destroyed during the operation.
He added that visible secondary explosions following the strikes confirmed the presence of large ammunition depots at the targeted locations.

Tarar said the strikes were carried out with precision and were aimed solely at facilities allegedly used by the Afghan Taliban to support militant proxies, including Fitna Al Khawarij and Fitna Al Hindustan.
Rejecting the Taliban’s narrative, the minister said such propaganda would not mislead the Afghan people or the international community regarding what he termed the regime’s involvement in supporting terrorism in the region.

He further emphasised that operations under Operation Ghazab Lil Haq would continue, reiterating Pakistan’s resolve to protect its citizens from terrorism attributed to what he described as a “master terror proxy".
The minister added that footage released alongside the statement clearly demonstrated the nature of the targeted infrastructure.
