The Sindh government has announced a series of public holidays for workers across the province on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr and Pakistan Day (March 23).
According to official details, workers will observe holidays on March 20 and 21 in connection with Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations. In addition, a public holiday has been announced for March 23 to mark Pakistan Day.
With these announcements, workers employed in factories, shops and other establishments will benefit from a four-day holiday period, allowing them extended time to celebrate the festive and national occasions.
The Labour and Manpower Department Sindh issued two separate notifications confirming the schedule. The move is aimed at facilitating workers and ensuring they can fully participate in religious and national celebrations.
Officials stated that all relevant institutions and employers have been directed to comply with the holiday schedule, ensuring that labourers across Sindh receive their entitled time off during this period.
