The State Bank of Pakistan on Tuesday announced that all banks and financial institutions across the country will remain closed on March 20 and 21 on account of Eid al-Fitr holidays.
According to an official statement, the government has declared public holidays on both days for Eid-ul-Fitr, during which banking operations will be suspended nationwide.
In addition, the State Bank said that banks and financial institutions will also remain closed on March 23, 2026, in observance of Pakistan Day.
The central bank advised customers to plan their financial transactions accordingly in view of the upcoming holidays.
