At least three people were killed and more than 20 others injured in an accident on the Indus Highway near Khairpur Nathan Shah, rescue officials said.
According to initial reports, the accident involved a passenger coach, which left several individuals trapped inside the vehicle. Rescue teams rushed to the scene and launched an operation to retrieve the bodies and evacuate the injured.
Rescue sources said the accident allegedly occurred after the driver sustained an eye injury, causing the vehicle to lose control.
Officials added that several of the injured are in critical condition and have been shifted to nearby medical facilities. Efforts are ongoing to rescue passengers still trapped in the wreckage.
