Pakistani director Nadeem Baig appeared as a guest at the comedy show 'Gup Shab' hosted by Vasay Chaudhary, where he talked about Humayun Saeed and Fahad Mustafa.
A girl from the audience asked him to choose between Humayun Saeed and Fahad Mustafa. He had to pick one for a specific role.
The director said that they are both the best in their craft and he will actually have to see what the character is for which he is casting them.
He gave an example stating that 'Main Manto Nahi Hun' didn’t suit Fahad, just as 'Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum' wasn’t meant for Humayun.
"Both the stars have their merits", he added.
Nadeem Baig also spoke about how he never has a lot of expectations from the people he introduces in this industry.
He does not think that they will now only work with him. He has given a break to many people, like he was once given a break to work in this industry.
He specifically named Hamza Ali Abbasi, who is a great actor and a great human, and Nadeem introduced him to mainstream dramas.
Nadeem Baig is Pakistani film and television director, producer and writer from Karachi.
Baig won the Lux Style Award For Best Director for Punjab Nahi Jaungi.
He made his film directional debut in 2015 with the highest grosser of the year, Jawani Phir Nahi Ani.
