Naveed Mehr, the main suspect in the Wazirabad march shooting case, was produced in a special anti-terrorism court, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.
Lawmen stepped up security outside the court. Additional IG Ehsanullah Chauhan and SP Malik Tariq were present.
The court granted a 12-day physical remand to the JIT. A request for a 30-day physical remand was made.
The accused was arrested on the spot on November 3 and the FIR was registered on November 7.
He was produced before the court 10 days after the registration of the case.
PTI chairman Imran Khan came under a gun attack in Wazirabd when he was leading the long march.
