Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar arrived in Moscow on Monday to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Heads of Government Council meeting, scheduled from November 17 to 18, 2025, a Foreign Office spokesperson confirmed.
Dar was received at the airport by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin. Also present to welcome the Pakistani delegation were Alexander Prosov, Deputy Director of State Protocol at the Russian Foreign Ministry, and Alexei Soriotsev, Deputy Director of the Ministry’s Second Asia Department. Officers of the Pakistani Embassy in Moscow were also present on the occasion.
The SCO Heads of Government Council meeting will bring together senior officials from member states to discuss regional cooperation, economic collaboration, and security issues.
