Flight operation was affected at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport (JIAP) on Monday as six international and domestic flights failed to take off due to different reasons, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
An Emirates Airlines flight EK-609, was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to land at Dubai International Airport from Karachi.
An Oman Air flight WY-324, was also cancelled. The flight was scheduled to depart from Karachi to Muscat.
A Thai Airways flight, TJ-342, was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to take off from Karachi for Bangkok.
Two Air Sial flights, PF-145 and PF-146, were cancelled. These flights were scheduled to land at Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA) Lahore from Karachi.
A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight, PK-306, was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to land at Lahore from Karachi.
The daily flight disruptions left several thousand passengers inconvenienced, with many struggling to secure alternative arrangements.
