Two young men were killed and three others injured on Monday when a speeding passenger coach crashed into a rickshaw on the Moro National Highway, police said.
The collision took place near Tariq Petrol Pump, where the rickshaw was struck with such force that passengers were thrown onto the road. Rescue teams and police reached the site soon after.
The injured were shifted to Moro Tehsil Hospital, while the bodies of the deceased were moved to Civil Hospital Moro. Police identified the deceased as Wahid Baghiyo and Israr Baghiyo.
Following the accident, relatives of the victims staged a protest and blocked the National Highway, demanding action against the driver and improved road safety measures.
