Zimbabwe cricket team captain Sikandar Raza expressed confidence in his squad’s progress, saying they are focused and are determined to fight their way to the final of the ongoing tournament, 24NewsHD TV reported on Monday.
Speaking to the media, Raza said Zimbabwe has gained valuable experience by playing against major international teams this year.
“We are aware of our challenges, but we will play tomorrow’s match with full belief,” he added.

Addressing questions about loyalties, the Pakistan-born cricketer said, “Shaheen’s loyalty is with Pakistan, and my loyalty lies with Zimbabwe,” making clear his commitment to his national side.
Raza emphasized that the team’s recent exposure to high-level cricket has strengthened their preparation and mindset.
“We are working hard to increase our potential, and we will give everything we have to reach the final,” he said with determination.
