At least 16 flights of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and eight of private airlines were cancelled Monday at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and other airports, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Rahim Yar Khan-bound PIA flights, PK582 and PK583, from Karachi were cancelled.
PIA flights, PK536 and PK537, of the Karachi-Sukkur route were also cancelled.
Peshawar-bound PIA flights, PK350 and PK 351 from Karachi were also cancelled.
Multan-bound PIA flights, PK330 and PK331, from Karachi were also cancelled.
Gilgit-bound PIA flights, PK601 and PK602, from Islamabad were cancelled.
Quetta-bound PIA flights, PK725 and PK726, from Islamabad were cancelled.
Sukkur-bound PIA flights, PK631 and PK632, from Islamabad were also cancelled.
Gilgit-bound PIA flights, PK605 and PK606, from Islamabad were also cancelled.
A private airline flight, PF743, from Saudi Arabia’s Dammam was also cancelled.
Karachi-bound flight PF144 from Lahore was also cancelled.
From Karachi, Islamabad-bound flight PF121 and Lahore-bound flight PF143 were cancelled.
Jeddah-bound flights, PF718 and PF719, from Islamabad were also cancelled.
Karachi-bound flights, PF122 and PF126, from Islamabad were also cancelled.
The flight schedule was affected due to a heavy rain and dust storm in Karachi.
Islamabad-bound flight ER502 from Karachi is likely to be delayed by one hour.
Jedda-bound private airline flight from Lahore was delayed by six hours. Flight ER821 will leave for Jeddah at 5:10 PM according to the new schedule.
Sialkot-bound PIA flight PK240 from Kuwait City was delayed by four hours.
The PIA spokesperson could not be contacted; therefore, queries to the answers about the delay in flights could not be answered.
