Anti-terrorism courts in Lahore and Islamabad have granted physial remaned of 41 workers of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore on Friday granted 10-day physical remand of 11 workers of a religious party.
Duty Judge Irfan Haider heard the case during which Investigation Officer (IO) Mohammad Aslam requested a 30-day physical remand of TLP workers.
The workers were identified as Mohammad Riaz, Mohammad Hasdsan, Mohammad Tariq, Ghulam Murtaza, Usman Ilyas, Elahi Ahmad, and others.
The judge approved 10-day physical remand and handed them over to the police.
A case was registered against the accused under the Anti-Terrorism Act at the Baghbanpura Police Station in Lahore.
Physical remand of 30 TLP workers granted
An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Islamabad alsoapproved 14-day physical remand of 30 Tahreek-e-Labbaik workers on Friday.
ATC Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqurnain heard the case. During the hearing, all the 30 accused were produced before the court.
The Investigation Officer (IO) requested the court to grant14-days physical remand of all accused. The ATC also approved the request of the investigation officer.
The ATC also ordered to send all the accused to jail for identification parade.
Several cases were registered against the workers of a religious party in Shehzad Town Police Station and Sunbal Police Station.
