Five Indian-backed terrorists eliminated in Khuzdar Operation

As many as five terrorists of Fitna al-Hindustan were killed during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Khuzdar, Balochistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

According to a statement from the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was carried out during the midnight of September 14 and 15. 

Security forces engaged the militants and later recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition from their possession.

The ISPR confirmed that the terrorists were involved in several previous attacks. 

It reaffirmed that security forces remain fully determined to eliminate terrorism from the country, stressing that IBOs will continue until the last terrorist is neutralised. A sanitisation operation has also been launched in the area.

Terror Strikes in KP and Balochistan

In a separate wave of violence, terrorists mounted coordinated attacks on police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan, leaving one policeman martyred, six injured, and one missing, 24NewsHD TV reported.

In Sherani district, Balochistan, militants stormed the District Headquarters Police and Levies Line around 11 pm.

According to Deputy Commissioner Hazrat Wali Kakar, policeman Altaf-ur-Rehman of Khanozai embraced martyrdom, while Levies personnel Wahid Harifal and Kalu Khan were injured. 

Another official, Azam Khan, remains missing as search operations continue. The attackers also destroyed the police station’s communication system.

The Sherani administration has pledged to support affected families and ensure that perpetrators face justice.

Meanwhile, in Bannu (KP), more than 200 militants launched a large-scale assault on the Mazanga police post within the Hoveed police station limits. 

District Police Officer Salim Abbas Kalachi reported a heavy exchange of gunfire.

Though explosives damaged the post’s boundary wall, police forces stood their ground and forced the militants to retreat. Four policemen sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital. 

Mohsin Naqvi lauds security forces for successful operation in Khuzdar

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi lauded security forces for thwarting an attack by Indian-sponsored terrorists in Khuzdar.

In his message, Mohsin Naqvi said that security forces showed extraordinary professionalism during the operation and sent five Indian-sponsored terrorists to hell. 

Mohsin Naqvi said that these intelligence-based operations will continue till the complete elimination of all the Indian-sponsored terrorists.

He paid glowing tributes to the security forces. Mohsin Naqvi said that the entire nation stands with their brave security forces in the fight against terrorism.
