With the flood situation now under control, the Kartarpur Gurdwara has been reopened for pilgrims, marking the resumption of visits after disruptions caused by Indian water aggression.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, a delegation of more than ten Sikh pilgrims from the UK, including both men and women, arrived at Kartarpur to perform religious rites.
Speaking to the media, the group’s representative, Swarn Kaur, expressed gratitude to the Pakistani government for swiftly draining floodwater from the shrine and restoring arrangements.
“The government has made excellent efforts to rehabilitate the site. It feels great to be here again and perform darshan in peace,” said one of the visiting pilgrims.
Officials confirmed that while Kartarpur did suffer damage due to water aggression, restoration efforts are ongoing, ensuring safe access for devotees.
The pilgrims described their experience as spiritually fulfilling, appreciating Pakistan’s commitment to preserving and facilitating their holy journey.
