Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb has said Pakistan is open for business with renewed interest from international investors, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
Aurangzeb was speaking at Pakistan Investment Roundtable hosted by Pakistan High Commissioner in London.
The finance minister said Pakistan has successfully completed all IMF reviews on schedule that have been validated by three rating upgrades.
Aurangzeb said the government is committed to macro-economic stabilization and is vigorously pursuing sustained growth.
The minister underscored that structural reforms agenda is being implemented which also aims at enabling the private sector.
He said the fiscal consolidation is delivering results in the form of primary surplus, deficit compression, revenue mobilization and impetus in institutional and fiscal reforms.
