Preparations for local government elections in Punjab have begun and the Election Commission have started to seek details of officers and employees to be assigned polling staff duties, reported 24NewsHD TV.
The District Election Commissioner directed 118 government departments in Faisalabad to submit the required data, including the Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Local Government, C&W, District Council and District Accounts Office.
The Election Commission also directed the Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, CPO and RPO to make necessary security arrangements for the local government elections.
