Pakistani YouTuber Rajab Butt has spoken about the tragic Aizal case after visiting her grieving mother in Karachi and expressing his support for the family’s demand for justice.
According to clips circulating on social media, Rajab met Aizal’s mother during his visit and spoke about the heartbreaking case. He said the child was still very young and had barely seen the world before her life was cut short.
Rajab said that anyone involved in crimes against children should face strict punishment. He also urged people to support Aizal’s family and raise their voices so that her mother can get justice as soon as possible.
Speaking during the meeting, Rajab said Aizal was too young to understand the world around her and deserved a chance to live her life. He stressed that people who harm children should be made an example of and called for serious action against those responsible.
The Aizal case has continued to draw attention on social media. The Punjab Women Protection Authority has also assured Aizal’s mother of legal and moral support as she continues her fight for justice. According to the authority, Aizal was 18 months old and died following an alleged sexual assault in Karachi.
Rajab’s visit comes at a time when he is also facing criticism over a separate controversy. An old clip from a TikTok Live session with digital creator Zaid Ali recently resurfaced, in which Rajab made an inappropriate joke about child sexual abuse. The video triggered strong criticism from social media users and several public figures.
Rajab later apologized for his remarks, admitting that the comment was inappropriate. He said child abuse is a serious matter that should never be treated as a joke and acknowledged that the age of the video did not excuse what he had said.
His meeting with Aizal’s mother has now attracted further attention online, with users discussing his decision to publicly support the family over the ongoing criticism surrounding him.
