Security forces personnel have killed three terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Badrang area of Awaran District of Balochistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday, quoting security sources.
The operation was conducted under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, with security forces targeting terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan.
The sources said a large quantity of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the terrorists. They added that members of Fitna al-Hindustan had suffered significant losses during ongoing security operations across Balochistan.
“Security forces remained committed to continuing operations until they restored peace and order in the province and eliminated terrorism,” the sources said.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the security forces for their successful operation and lauded the professional capabilities of the security forces.
“Brave personnel of the security forces remain determined to establish peace in Balochistan. I salute the security forces for foiling the nefarious designs of the terrorists,” Naqvi said.
